{"id":6916,"date":"2018-10-09T20:13:00","date_gmt":"2018-10-09T18:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.xprag.de\/?p=6916"},"modified":"2018-10-09T20:13:48","modified_gmt":"2018-10-09T18:13:48","slug":"xprag-de-interns-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xprag.de\/?p=6916","title":{"rendered":"XPrag.de interns 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to announce that the Steering Board of XPrag.de has selected five outstanding early career researchers to visit an XPrag.de project in 2019.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Laine Stranahan<\/strong>, a post-doc at Harvard University, will join the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xprag.de\/?page_id=4759\" target=\"_blank\">Pro<sup>3<\/sup><\/a> in Osnabr\u00fcck from January 8th to April 7th, 2019. Her research will be on &#8220;Modeling Listeners&#8217; Online Adaptation as Bayesian Rational Belief Update&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Amir Anvari<\/strong>, who is a PhD student at Jean Nicod Paris, will join the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xprag.de\/?page_id=4751\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PSIMS<\/a> at ZAS Berlin from April to May 2019. He will work on the empirical and theoretical aspects of gesture semantics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sherry Yong Chen<\/strong>, a PhD Student at MIT, will join the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xprag.de\/?page_id=4768\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MUQTASP<\/a> at ZAS Berlin from June 24th to August 31st, 2019. Sherry plans to investigate how Question Uner Discussion affects the interpretation of scopally ambiguous sentences.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Camelia Bleotu<\/strong>, who is a post-doc at the University of Bucharest, will join the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xprag.de\/?page_id=43\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SiGames<\/a> at ZAS Berlin from July to September 2019. During her internship she will investigate the acquisition of epistemic modal adverbs from a game-theoretic perspective.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chiawei Wang<\/strong>, a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, will join the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xprag.de\/?page_id=4719\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">InfoPer2<\/a> in Cologne from May 13th to August 4th, 2019.
