XPrag.de at the “International Workshop on Non-Prototypical Clefts” in Leuven

On Friday, 16th, there will be two talks given by members of the XPrag.de project ExCl at the “International Workshop on Non-Prototypical Clefts” to be held December 15-16, 2016 at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium.

Joseph P. DeVeaugh-Geiss will give a talk together with Agata Renans (Ulster University) on “Exhaustivity in it-Clefts with Collective and Distributive Predicates: An Experimental Study.”

In the later afternoon, there will be another talk on “An Experimental Study on Number-based Implicatures in German es-Clefts and Definite Pseudoclefts,” by Joseph P. DeVeaugh-Geiss, Swantje Tönnis, Edgar Onea, and Malte Zimmermann.
