Mentoring Programs

The structure of DFG priority programs provides ideal circumstances for scientific collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange. The benefit is twofold: the success of a priority program strongly depends on the intensity of networking between the researchers; concomitantly early-stage researchers profit from the readily approachability of experienced researchers. To encourage early-career researchers to take advantage of this unique opportunity XPrag.de established the Early-career Mentoring Program and the Women Mentoring Program. Both programs pair up early-career researchers with an experienced XPrag.de principal investigator at another institution. With the Women Mentoring Program in particular female early-stage researchers find a role model in a female experienced researcher.

XPrag.de supports travel costs (including one night’s stay) for one or two visits a year to consult the mentor.
